What is Cliptop?
Cliptop is a clipboard history app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. On Mac, it opens near the notch or from Shift + Cmd + V so you can search, paste, or clean up recent copies without switching context. Optional private iCloud Sync keeps clips and pinboards available across your devices.
Does Cliptop store my clipboard history in the cloud?
Clipboard history is stored locally by default. Optional iCloud Sync can sync clips and pinboards through your private iCloud database, and Cliptop does not send clipboard contents to Cliptop servers for sync.
What if my screen doesn't have a notch?
Cliptop works on any Mac screen. If there is no notch, hover over the middle of the menu bar to open Cliptop, or press Shift + Cmd + V.
Why does Direct Paste need Accessibility permission?
Direct Paste uses Accessibility permission so Cliptop can paste the selected item back into the app you were using. If you do not enable it, Cliptop still restores the item to the clipboard so manual paste keeps working.
What clipboard types does Cliptop support?
